| Comments | Matured in bourbon squat hogshead for 23 years. The latest in the “Still” series. This one-off bottling comes from some unusual bourbon casks, rare squat hogshead. These experimental “dumpy” casks were used for a brief period in the eighties before American coopers settled on the current format for ease of storage. The extra whisky/wood contact given to to the maturing spirit is reminiscent of an older style character. Cork stopper and packed in metal tin. | ||

And an interminable finish on dried fruits, salt and quite some rubber. Brilliant whisky, that’s for sure. It seems they bought some perfect sherry butts at the distillery in 1986″ – comment from Serge – WhiskyFun | ||
